The Vital Role of PMs in the Pursuit Process

The PM and the superintendent are essential contributors to pursuits. Why is their input so important? They build the job, look after funds and are responsible for executing the work. More and more often, RFQs and shortlist letters state that the PM and/or the superintendent must participate in the interview process. While it’s valuable to have an executive’s participation to demonstrate the importance of a project, the project managers provide the knowledge and the experience. Project managers attending this Academy session will walk away understanding the full pursuit process and their important role in winning jobs.
